Spirit Airlines may remove passengers

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Spirit Airlines has updated its dress code policy. This change affects passengers flying with them.

The new policy is in the “Contract of Carriage” and started on Jan. 22. It says passengers can’t board or may leave if their clothes are too revealing or have offensive “body art.”

Now, passengers who are barefoot or wearing see-through clothes can’t fly. Clothes or body art that are lewd, obscene, or offensive are also banned.

By booking a flight, passengers agree to follow the dress code.

Before, Spirit Airlines banned two women in October. They were wearing crop tops and were asked to leave by a flight attendant.

Tara Kehidi filmed the incident. She had to spend $1,000 to fly with another airline, CNN reported.
